一百多年前，在一群以孫中山先生為首的基督徒革命者的主導下，革命事業轟轟烈烈展開了。事實上，基督教在晚清革命風潮之初有著重大的先驅作用，最初革命核心人物除了孫中山外，也有很多基督徒在內，而教會亦往往成為革命起義的重要據點。沒有基督放這重要因素，百多年前就未必能有武昌首義成功這回事。

在坊間眾多關於晚清革命的書籍中，當中多次革命之背後那基督教因素往往被忽略或刪掉了，殊為可惜。本書編著者曾於2011年底編著《圖片中國基督教簡史》，並從中抽出資料另外出版《孫中山、基督教與辛亥革命》百周年紀念圖文集特刊。編著者特把後者再增修整理成為本小書，其中加增更多全新圖片及史料，而仍以孫中山之蹤跡為主幹故事，希望有助讀者對晚清革命及中基督徒所作之不朽貢獻有進一步了解。

作者簡介

禤浩榮，香港出生，中學畢業後赴加拿大讀預科及大學（西門菲莎大學，Simon Fraser University），主修生物學。畢業後回港任教中學，後再赴加拿大維真神學院（Regent College）修讀道學碩士。八七年回港牧會及繼續進修，先後修畢中國神學研究院（CGST）神學碩士課程及美國加州福樂神學院（Fuller Theological Seminary）教牧學博士課程。禤先生與妻子鄭永瑜及兩女兒（雁婷及燕衡）現居於加拿大溫哥華，他現為溫哥華列治文門諾會平安堂傳道。

禤先生另著有「但以理書與啟示文學」、「聖經中的希伯來人」、「永恆的十誡」、「圖片舊約四千年」及「淺談聖經預表」，譯有「兩約之間」。
